What should bookkeeping
cost your business?
Answer three questions to get an estimated monthly range for your small business. All businesses are different, so we'll confirm firm pricing with you.
Three questions
Why a range, not a price
Two businesses with the same revenue can need very different bookkeeping: how many transactions and accounts there are, whether the books are cash or accrual, how clean the history is. The estimate gives you a realistic range for your answers. A short call turns it into a firm monthly price, in writing.
What the monthly fee covers
- •Bookkeeping and monthly financial statements: profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow
- •Monthly reconciliation, so everything balances
- •Books closed within 10 business days of month-end
- •A named senior bookkeeper, backed by a controller who reviews the work
- •A flat monthly fee, with no hourly charges
What happens when you connect with us
Tell us about your books and we'll confirm the scope on a 30-minute call, then put a firm monthly price in writing. If your books need clean-up first, or something the estimator doesn't cover, you'll hear it before you start, not on an invoice.
Common questions
- Is this the price I'll pay?
- No, it's an estimate. All businesses are different, so the range reflects our standard pricing for the answers you gave. Connect with us and we'll confirm the scope on a 30-minute call, then put a firm monthly price in writing.
- Why do you ask for my email?
- So we can follow up about your estimate and help you turn it into a firm price for your business.
- Why do accrual-basis books cost more?
- Accrual books record revenue when it's earned and expenses when they're owed, not when cash moves. That means keeping receivables and payables current every month, which is more work than cash-basis books.
- What if I'm not sure which basis my books use?
- Choose Not sure and we'll estimate it as cash-basis books. If your books turn out to need accrual, the firm price will be higher, and you'll hear that before you start.
- Is payroll included?
- Payroll is an add-on, estimated by how many employees you pay. Running it alongside your bookkeeping keeps the payroll filings and the books in agreement.

Educational, not professional advice. This estimate uses the answers you gave and our standard pricing, and doesn't account for your full situation. For advice on your business, get in touch. Invisible LLC isn't your accountant until we have an engagement letter.
- It's an estimated range, not a quote. All businesses are different; your firm monthly price is confirmed in writing after a short scoping call.
- Financial modeling and fractional controller work are scoped separately and aren't included here.
